Sour Milk drinkers,
On June 30th, I put Sour Milk on pause to take some time off to meet a book deadline. Until I post the next story, this means that monthly subscribers will not be charged, annual subscribers will have their payments pushed back, and new readers won’t be able to sign up for paid subscriptions.
In less than eleven months, Sour Milk has published more than 100,000 words of essays, commentary, reviews, and survival stories by me, Peter Maguire, former British newsman of the year Ed Vulliamy, Senator Jim Webb, novelist Mary McCarthy, screenwriter Joan Tewkesbury, big wave rider Richard St. Onge, commercial fisherman Scott Thompson, and others. Parts of Sour Milk articles have been reprinted in People Magazine, The New York Post, The Daily Mail, ABC News, The Surfer’s Journal, Beachgrit, and other publications.
When Sour Milk resumes, we will be adding a comment section for paying subscribers and publishing more articles by subject matter experts. Coming soon: “Fry The Bird: Chapter Two of Joan Tewkesbury’s Autobiography,” “West of the 405: Jim Ganzer’s Los Angeles,” “The Desert Duel: A Survival Tale”, and “Ukraine 7: Decolonizing Russia.”
Thanks for your support this past year,
Peter Maguire
